Fun fact: If you wear Kork-Ease, then you wear the same shoes as The Rockettes.
Which basically means you’re a professional dancer, right?
In a recent video by Racked.com, Christina Hendrick, a 10-year member of fabled dance troupe, revealed her off-duty style. Behind the scenes at Radio City Music Hall, Christina was wearing a pair of Kork-Ease boots, black denim, and a French Connection top. It was a chic, off-duty look far from the sparkles and ruffles of her daily costume.
Christina is wearing the super comfy CASTANEDA bootie in black. CASTANEDA is a darling of our fall collection, redesigned this season in new, refreshing colors. It’s an everyday bootie is built on a chunky heel with two-tone leather. CASTANEDA is both charming and comfortable enough for the everyday grind.
Think about it: if a professional dancer wears this boot, you can trust its comfort. After all, this time of year, Christina is performing in five demanding shows a day, seven days a week. She’s on her feet for such a huge portion of the week that it’s a wonder she chooses to wear heels at all. You go girl.
The video is appropriately titled, “What the Rockettes Wear When They’re Not Being Rockettes.” It showcases what the dancers wear both on and off the stage. Over the course of one show, the dancers see eight outfit changes. While most outfits are custom fitted to each dancer, it turns out the dancers have been wearing the same wooden soldier costume that was crafted in 1933. Shout out to the dry-cleaners.
